“ Normally, I lean towards local hidden gems but every once in a while, a chain or a large establishment comes along and surprises you. The atmosphere is not necessarily my vibe but a friend suggested we try the tacos, so we went! We tried the tacos gobernador, esquites, and crème brûlée. No manches… que delicia!!! (We also ordered the aguachile verde but there was no fish, just shrimp and I was not a fan so I left that photo out.) Our friend also mentioned that the mixology was worth breaking my no alcohol streak for, so we went in on that, too. I had a smoky orange mezcal that was definitely worth it for the show alone. The service was fantastic; friendly and attentive. I’m giving it 4 ⭐ because the environment doesn’t align with what I usually go for but if you’re in the area, try it — it might surprise you, too! ”
